ACCA Education’s ACCA Art Kitchen # 4: Primary Colour Oil Painting with Gian Manik is the fourth in a series of artist-led workshop videos that offer students the opportunity to have a direct ‘MAKE’ encounter with an artist and to learn from their art making process through the highlighting of a particular technique that can be easily adapted for practice at home or in the classroom.

In this workshop, join contemporary artist Gian Manik to learn how to create an oil painting from a source image by mixing the three primary colours, plus black and white. You will also hear why Manik approaches painting as a discipline, thinks of his practice as a form of self-portraiture, and chooses to work in a dedicated art studio.
