An exhibition of works by three leading female contemporary indigenous artists that formed Australia’s official contribution to the 1997 Venice Biennale. The exhibition included paintings by Emily Kame Kngwarreye, Yvonne Koolmatrie and Judy Watson that were selected to highlight the spectrum of Aboriginal experience and artistic practice in Australia at the time.
