ACCA, Dallas Brooks Drive, The Domain
At the time of this exhibition Aleks Danko was working with topics drawn from his own life experience as the son of migrant Ukranian parents born into the uniformity of suburban Adelaide. Themes of alienation, melancholy and displacement were confronted with humour in this exhibition which was presented as part of the Melbourne Festival.
