Companion City was the second design competition held by the publication Transition: Discourse on Architecture. Transition was a quarterly magazine produced by the Department of Architecture at RMIT University and was devoted to discourse on contemporary architectural practice and theory. The Competition explored the future for our cities through ideas of design, energy conservation, planning and the environment. Entries were exhibited from Australia, New Zealand, Italy, USA and Singapore.
