ACCA, Dallas Brooks Drive, The Domain
The E/Sensual Fragments series included a solo project by artists who explored ideas of sexuality, sensuality, the erotic and the body. It was coordinated by Juliana Engberg and Rachel Young.
This work comprised a visual and written allegory of the liaisons in life between mortal flaws, incompleteness and tragedy. The installation consisted of a camp stretcher with a mechanically operated breathing pillow and light boxes holding silk worms and cocoons.
