ACCA, Dallas Brooks Drive, The Domain
This major new body of work was conceived as a meditation on the twentieth century. The culmination of a project begun in 1989 at the time of the Tiananmen Square massacre and before the fall of the Berlin Wall, the installation acted as a ‘generic memorial’ connecting the artist’s own personal history with the public historical events of the 20th century. This exhibition was the third and final in ACCA’s Death and the Body series that examined recent explorations into mortality.
