Organised in conjunction with the Next Wave Festival, the exhibition responded to the festival theme of ‘distance’ by presenting new work by contemporary Irish artists. The exhibition was a sequel to Aerphost, an exhibition of contemporary Australian art via airmail at The Debtors Prison, Dublin in 1996. The exhibition asked artists to respond innovatively to the presentation of their work and materials.
