Rosemary Laing: Aero-Zone

21 Aug–3 Oct 1999

ACCA, Dallas Brooks Drive, The Domain

In Aero-zone Laing offered the viewer the opportunity to rethink conventional notions of space and time by presenting the possibility that, rather than existing as fixed categories, both time and space can be variable conditions, which in turn determine perception and understanding of the world around us. The exhibition comprised selected works from three different series, Brownwork, Greenwork and Spin and was part of an international cultural exchange program between Monash University Gallery and the National Museum of Art in Osaka.
