The Object of Existence

Fri 8 Dec 1995–
Sun 25 Feb 1996

ACCA, Dallas Brooks Drive, The Domain

A group exhibition what examined aspects of contemporary existence through the work of artists who recast or reproduced objects from everyday life. In an era of difference, hybridity and virtuality, these works became references to a continuing commonality and physicality of life approaching the next millennium. The exhibition sought to capture a sense of humanness, volume and form in a post-human and highly technologised world.

Curated by Clare Williamson
