Senior Development & Engagement Manager (parental leave cover)

The Senior Development & Engagement Manager leads ACCA’s fundraising, grants and marketing objectives, overseeing a team of two coordinators, working in consultation with ACCA’s Executive team.

This key role works to achieve ACCA’s fundraising targets through individual giving and corporate partnerships, supporting the Artistic Director and CEO, and Board with the Major Gifts Strategy, as well as through strategic proposals and grant applications to government, trusts and foundations.

The role also manages and oversees effective marketing, communications and digital strategies for ACCA in order to promote ACCA’s vision, programs and identity and involve, retain and build audiences, participants and supporters.

This is a full-time position on a fixed term 12-month contract during parental leave (renewable by mutual agreement, pending parental leave cover arrangements).

Grants & Marketing Coordinator (0.8 FTE)

The Grants & Marketing Coordinator contributes to ACCA’s key marketing, grants and fundraising objectives, with a focus on strategic grant proposals to trusts, foundations and government, as well as digital communication through ACCA’s website, social media channels and e-news.

This key role contributes to the research and preparation of applications and reporting to philanthropic trusts and foundations, and government agencies, as well as assisting with stakeholder engagement initiatives and events.

The Grants & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for ACCA’s social and digital channels and works collaboratively with ACCA’s wider team to develop creative strategies and opportunities to communicate and promote ACCA’s exhibitions, artists, education and public programs, digital content, bookshop, venue hire and donor programs to diverse audiences.

Internships

Internship positions for 2024 are currently filled.

ACCA has limited capacity to offer Internships. We aim to offer 1–2 curatorial internships per year either by application; in partnership with accredited academic programs and university placements; or when an individual’s area of study is closely aligned to a particular exhibition. We do not currently offer internships in other departments.

Work Experience

Work experience positions for 2024 are currently filled.

ACCA offers two work experience placements each year for secondary students. Students gain understanding about all aspects of the organisation, while completing a self-directed project. Enquiries from prospective student applicants should be directed to education@acca.melbourne.
