Join artist David Wadelton, of the Northcote Hysterical Society on a tour of the local, quotidian histories of High Street in the Melbourne suburb of Northcote, finishing with a chat at the pub.
David Wadelton has been photographing the Melbourne suburb of Northcote and environs since the 1970s, the record of which is collected in various anthologies and publications, and on the Facebook page Northcote Hysterical Society.
Wadelton’s project for Who’s Afraid of Public Space? is a selection of sixty photographs taken over the past decades captured by the artist on Wadelton’s daily walks.
