Think like an artist at any age with two artist-led workshops designed to explore creative thinking. Family Art Day is an exciting and adventurous day out with the opportunity to think and make at ACCA with practicing artists Jeremy Eaton and Rudi Williams.
Aimed at kids and their families, two different workshop options will begin the hour at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm: plaster flower casting with Jeremy Eaton and photographic collage with Rudi Williams. Participants can rotate through the workshops across these times, with the option to stay for part or all of the three hours. All participants can take their flower sculptures and photographic collages home with them!

Jeremy Eaton lives and works in Melbourne. Jeremy is currently completing his Masters in Fine Art by research at the Victorian College of the Arts. Selected group and solo exhibitions include Extended Movement, West Space, Melbourne, 2013;.What happens between the rain and the ground, Kings ARI, Melbourne, 2015; “Blue miles for the ocean, green miles through the palm trees, and yellow miles over sandy stretches”, BUS Projects, Melbourne, 2013; and Smokescreen, TCB art inc., Melbourne, 2013. Jeremy also undertook a residency at PICA in 2014, and took part in the Gertrude Contemporary and ArtAND Australia Emerging Writers Program in 2015.
Rudi Williams was born in Milan, Italy. She lives and works in Melbourne, Australia. Williams works predominantly with analogue photography, video and sculpture. Her work is often site specific. Williams completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Honours at The Victorian College of the Arts in 2015. She has had recent solo exhibitions at Caves gallery, Fort Delta and c3 contemporary art space in Melbourne, and has been represented in group exhibitions at Centre for Contemporary Photography, TarraWarra Museum of Art, Monash Gallery of Art and The Substation.
