Join us at the neighbouring Federation Hall at the Victorian College of the Arts for Prediction Piece #7, a performance by Lyndal Jones as part of the public programs for Unfinished Business.
In Prediction Piece #7, Jones performs a speech about the future, an act of prediction from three different gender positions. This audio-visual performance lecture was first presented as part of Australia: Nine Contemporary Artists, Culver City Masonic Temple, Los Angeles Olympic Arts Festival, 1984.
Lyndal Jones’ Prediction Pieces are a series of ten works produced by Jones over a period of ten years since 1981. The Prediction Pieces are multi-disciplinary, time-based works which combine elements of theatre, music, visual art, dance, photography (slide works) and video.
