Join us for a panel discussion, presented in partnership with Channels Festival, with artists Reko Rennie, Almagul Menlibayeva and Noor Afshan Mirza (one half of duo Noor Afshan Mirza and Brad Butler).
Chaired by Kelli Alred, Channels Festival Artistic Director and curator of Untimely Geographies, the talk will provide audiences with an insight into their respective practices, while teasing out thematic correlations emerging in context of the Channels Festival exhibition Untimely Geographies.
International artists Almagul Menlibayeva (Kazakhstan / Germany) and Noor Afshan Mirza (Turkey / United Kingdom) are undertaking a four-week residency in Melbourne with support from Channels Festival and RMIT University School of Art through INTERSECT.
