Artist Peter Kennedy continues our lecture series on the game-changing moments in Australian exhibition histories, speaking on interference and Inhibodress, one of Australia’s first artist-run initiatives co-founded by Kennedy with Mike Parr, Tim Johnson and others.
Sue Cramer, curator of Inhibodress 1971-1972, Institute of Modern Art, Brisbane, 1989, responds considering the legacy of this work in conceptual art practice, and the politics of working with the history of performance art and re-staging historical exhibitions.
