Building for a Typhoon

Building for a typhoon is the sequel to Rohan Hutchinson’s celebrated and out-of-print first publication, ‘A brief stroll whist inspecting architecture.’
The photographs were created with the support of iconic European camera company Arca Swiss; during a field trip to Tokyo in late 2019, each explores an architectural structure and its standing amidst weather variance, captured before and succeeding the typhoon that shut Tokyo down.
