ACCA, Dallas Brooks Drive, The Domain
This photographic installation by Sydney-based artist Debra Phillips was inspired by a century of dates on a tombstone discovered by the artist in Paris. The work posed subtle questions about life, death and the relationship of personal experience to political history. This was one of three exhibitions programmed at this time that considered issues of sculptural representation in different media.
