Vision
ACCA’s Contemporary Circle is a new cultural network that activates young professionals and cultural enthusiasts as critically engaged ambassadors for ACCA and the wider contemporary culture of Melbourne.
Program
The Contemporary Circle rethinks what a donor program could be. It focuses on the experimental and the behind-the-scenes rather than the final outcome traditionally showcased to donors. In addition to accessing VIP events related to ACCA’s exhibition programs, the Contemporary Circle offers unique access to the work of artists, cultural organisations and practitioners, focusing on work-in-progress, experimental projects, exhibitions, installations, rehearsals, collections and studio visits. Through this engagement, the Contemporary Circle gain a genuine understanding of the processes involved in realising creative projects rather than the end result.
ACCA’s Contemporary Circle invites young professionals and cultural enthusiasts aged 25-45 to join.
Engagement
To encourage critical engagement with contemporary culture and philanthropy in the arts, Contemporary Circle Associates:
- participate as a close network of young professionals in the business, philanthropy and creative sectors
- receive double invitations to ACCA’s private exhibition views
- gain behind-the-scenes access to cultural initiatives and institutions across Melbourne
- receive a curated calendar of suggested events each month
Access
Access to the Contemporary Circle is limited to 50 places per year through a tax-deductible donation received as follows:
- Annual Payment Plan ($500 per annum)
- Quarterly Payment Plan ($125 per quarter)
- Dual Annual Payment Plan ($800 per couple)
- Dual Quarterly Payment Plan ($200 per couple)
