Operations Manager (0.8 FTE)
The Operations Manager is a key role managing ACCA’s building and facilities in consultation with the Executive Director and Executive team. The role also assists to develop and implement business systems to support ACCA’s team and values, as well as supporting planning, technical and logistical aspects of exhibition changeovers, major events and other activities.
The Operations Manager represents ACCA through engagement with Creative Victoria (given that ACCA is a state government asset), precinct neighbours and external contractors and is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day building and office management, including:
- managing the operation of ACCA’s building and facilities, across exhibition and office spaces
- ensuring efficient operations of ACCA and the smooth functioning of all office and administrative systems and processes, IT and building operations and equipment
- maintaining ACCA’s Occupational Health and Safety Program and tracking organisational compliance and governance obligations
- promoting ACCA as a venue for external clients and managing venue hire events
- providing the Executive team and Board with administrative support

Internships
Internship positions for 2024 are currently filled.
ACCA has limited capacity to offer Internships. We aim to offer 1–2 curatorial internships per year either by application; in partnership with accredited academic programs and university placements; or when an individual’s area of study is closely aligned to a particular exhibition. We do not currently offer internships in other departments.

Work Experience
Work experience positions for 2024 are currently filled.
ACCA offers two work experience placements each year for secondary students. Students gain understanding about all aspects of the organisation, while completing a self-directed project. Enquiries from prospective student applicants should be directed to education@acca.melbourne.
