Drawing on works by 12 artists from around Australia, Location examined each artist’s relationship to their own environment. Allowing the locations they described to becomes ‘sites for speculation’, Location also sought to investigate the position of photography in contemporary art by concentrating on the ‘object’ status of the photograph.
Location was a joint ACCA and Asialink project, which went on to tour throughout South East Asia and Japan.
