This is a free event for art enthusiasts and educators alike to hear directly from exhibition artists, highlighting First Nations contemporary art practice of the Southeast within a national context.
This program will meet the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers 2.4, 6.2 and 7.4 and support teaching of Visual Art F – 10 curriculum including Explore & Express Ideas, Respond & Interpret, VCE Art Making & Exhibiting and VCE Art Creative Practice. It will also inform strategies for embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures in Visual Art, Design & Technologies and Science curricula.
