A unique opportunity to hear internationally acclaimed Irish-born, London-based artist Eva Rothschild discuss her new and recent sculptural works in the lead up the first survey exhibition of the artist’s work in Australia at the ACCA.

In conversation with Max Delany Artistic Director and CEO, ACCA, Rothschild will explore her interest in the social aspect of sculpture and play, along with the influence in minimalism, classical architecture and popular culture, which are just some of the contexts which inform her work, including the major installation, An Array 2016, recently acquired by the NGV.

Eva Rothschild (at ACCA from 28 September – 25 November 2018) is a timely exhibition in advance of the artist’s forthcoming representation of Ireland at the 2019 Venice Biennale.

This event is presented with the National Gallery of Victoria for the exhibition Eva Rothschild, presented by the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art in association with the Melbourne International Arts Festival.
