This workshop is sold out. Register for ACCA’s Winter Workshops Scale it up with Lucina Lane and Fabric letter forms with Nadia Hernández.
Join artist Jahnne Pasco-White to explore a range of materials and methods to approach abstract painting and colour making as a part of ACCA’s artist-led workshop series. With an emphasis on the process and collaboration, participants will work directly onto a larger shared canvas, creating a larger mural by experimenting with natural dying, and plant pigmentation, as well as transfer, cutting and collaging with the dyed fabrics.
ACCA’s Winter Workshop Series
Join ACCA Education for a series of three practical art-making workshops developed alongside our current exhibition Like a Wheel That Turns: The 2022 Macfarlane Commissions.
Led by exhibiting artists Nadia Hernández, Lucina Lane, and Jahnne Pasco-White, each workshop will introduce participants to new approaches and techniques for painting. With a particular emphasis on collaging to expand your painting practice, this series is open to all and is an ideal professional development opportunity for educators and tertiary students.
All materials are included. All workshops are single events and there are special ticket prices for teachers and student teachers. Places are limited so get in quick!
