Join the young artists and filmmakers, alumni of the Richmond Emerging Aboriginal Leaders program at Korin Gamadji Institute, as they discuss the use of digital technology to express their identities and culture.
Their films, showcased for the first time as part of ACCA’s exhibition Sovereignty, were produced as part of a series of Digital Storytelling workshops held between 2014-2016. They reveal the ongoing significance of storytelling for Aboriginal people and assert the diversity of Aboriginalities and culture.
This one off session is an opportunity to meet the young artists and hear about their inspiration and process.
