Panel | Navigating Emotions Through Art  + Drawing Club

Thu 13 Aug
6pm

Main exhibition gallery
Free

6 – 8.30pm

To coincide with our upcoming exhibition,  Are you lonely tonight? I’m so lonesome I could cry, ACCA Education is delighted to invite you to join us for an engaging panel discussion exploring the relationship between art and emotion, and how creative practices can help young people to navigate complex and powerful emotional states.

This conversation will bring together diverse perspectives on the role of art in fostering emotional awareness, resilience and connection. Through discussion and shared insights, panellists will consider how creative expression can provide valuable tools for understanding ourselves and others to create greater connection in an increasingly isolated world.

This session will be followed by a Drawing Club session with a focus on the therapeutic dimension of drawing.
