Bring your knitting needles, embroidery hoops or any other craft materials and join us for an afternoon of stitching and bitching alongside ACCA’s current exhibition Paul Yore: WORD MADE FLESH.

You can bring a project you’re already working on, or start something new. These artist-led sessions are open to all experience levels and are LGBTIQA+ and queer friendly.

Kay Abude is an artist based in Melbourne. Her practice spans diverse media, including sculpture, large-scale installation, photography, performance, video, and silk screen printing.  Abude’s work is about work itself – the value of it, the effort, the inequality and insecurity of it, especially for artists. Her works, often adorned with texts, function as provocations and explore the politics of labour and money.
