See the art of Tokyo with Philip Brophy who will take us on a tour of the many exhibitions held in Tokyo in commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the end of WW2. Enjoy a complimentary cocktail inspired by Japan and created by The Melbourne Gin Company from 5pm. Talk from 6pm.

Philip Brophy is an Australian musician, composer, sound designer, filmmaker, writer, graphic designer, curator, artist and academic. In 1977, Brophy formed the experimental group → ↑ →. Brophy has published numerous books and articles on Japanese manga, animation, music and popular culture. He curated a retrospective on Tezuka's manga, commissioned by the National Gallery of Victoria (2006), Art Gallery of New South Wales (2007), Asian Art Museum of San Francisco (2007).
