Ulla von Brandenburg Lunchtime Forum

Wed 4 May 2016
12am

This is a past program.
Federation Hall, Grant St, Southbank, Melbourne, 3006

In this special art forum, Ulla von Brandenburg will talk about her own practice in the context of exhibition, IT HAS A GOLDEN YELLOW SUN AND AN ELDERLY GREY MOON. This is the first Australian survey of works by this celebrated German artist.

Bringing film, architecture and installation together in theatrical presentations, Ulla von Brandenburg has created a unique signature style through which she explores relationships between people. In IT HAS A GOLDEN YELLOW SUN AND AN ELDERLY GREY MOON she combines theatre strategies of staging, choreography, costumes and props, using the idea of the ‘outsider’ to interrogate ideas of community.
