ACCA Art Kitchen #1 – Wax Casting with Isadora Vaughan by ACCA Education

ACCA Education’s Art Kitchen #1: Wax Casting with Isadora Vaughan is the first in our new series of artist-led video workshops that aim to give educators and students insights into a particular technique and the thinking process of each artist featured.

This new series of video workshops aim to give individuals, families, educators and students insights into the artistic processes and techniques of contemporary Australian artists.
In this workshop, artist Isadora Vaughan demonstrates a process for creating sculptural forms through wax casting. Vaughan’s process highlighted in this workshop has also informed her contribution to ACCA’s forthcoming exhibition Overlapping Magisteria: The 2020 Macfarlane Commissions.

Currently in development is a body of connected resources to be used alongside these videos, alongside further workshop videos by ACCA’s Education team. For more information and resources, visit our online learning portal here »
