ACCA Education’s ACCA Art Kitchen # 5: Making Paper Hats with James Nguyen is the fifth in a series of artist-led workshop videos that offer students the opportunity to have a direct ‘MAKE’ encounter with an artist and to learn from their art making process through the highlighting of a particular technique that can be easily adapted for practice at home or in the classroom.

In this workshop, join contemporary artist James Nguyen to learn how to create a personalised unique hat using paper. Nguyen will share with you creative ideas on how to build and strengthen your form with staples, scissors and tape. You will also hear about why Nguyen likes to work collaboratively with his family and friends and how this enriches his creative process.
