A survey exhibition of the work of Melbourne painter Stephen Bush that focused on the way the artist appropriates the appearance of history painting to examine contemporary social and political issues. By interweaving parables of the wild west, the Australian landscape, popular culture and history the subjective experience of truth was examined.
