ANNOUNCEMENT: Temporary Gallery Closure

ACCA is currently closed to support public health services and the wellbeing of our staff, artists, audiences and wider communities.

We express solidarity with our fellow arts and cultural institutions and we recognise that engagement with the arts is essential to our wellbeing and is particularly important in times of uncertainty.

Our forthcoming exhibition, Frances Barrett: Meatus, presented as part of Suspended Moment: The Katthy Cavaliere Fellowship, will appear later this year. It is a project founded around ideas of embodiment, listening and empathy: qualities that are really needed right now.

During this time of recommended social distancing – which is counter to the way we usually work – ACCA would like to stay engaged with you. Please follow us on InstagramFacebookSoundcloudYouTube and Twitter, where we will be revisiting exhibitions and artist commissions from our archive and sharing content and updates about forthcoming exhibitions. You can also visit our website at acca.melbourne to access artist interviews, podcasts, videos, publications and other freely accessible resources.

We look forward to welcoming you back to ACCA and encourage you to continue to engage with and support the arts and cultural sector, and to follow artists, galleries and museums on social media.
