VCE Art Writing Masterclass
VCE students and teachers work with ACCA Educators to strengthen and extend their existing knowledge of art analysis, expression and terminology. Techniques and examples are intended to bolster art writing skills in VCE Art Making & Exhibiting and VCE Art Creative Practice, visual journal writing and exam responses. Participants consider artworks and ACCA exhibitions as case studies and prompts for written responses.
Recommended for VCE Art Making & Exhibiting and Art Creative Practice students, 45 minute session.

VCE Art Making & Exhibiting – ACCA Behind-the-Scenes
An online introduction to the role of ACCA’s curators and specialist team in selecting, presenting and conserving art in our public, non-collecting contemporary art gallery.
Live video presentation involves Q&A and a choice of past and current ACCA exhibitions to explore.

VCE Art Creative Practice – Interpretive Lenses
Drawing on artworks and exhibitions from ACCA’s artistic program, ACCA Educators will guide students in understanding and applying the interpretive lenses. Supporting topics include art practice and process, the role of art in society, context and personal experience.

ACCA Art Kitchen Video Series
Our Art Kitchen video workshops are artist-led and offer students the opportunity to have direct ‘MAKE’ encounters with leading contemporary artists, and to learn about their practices through the highlighting of a particular technique that can be easily adapted for practice at home or in the classroom.
