Join us for the Closing Celebration of Paul Yore: WORD MADE FLESH featuring DJ set by Simona Castricum. The ACCA bar will be serving delicious drinks and the exhibition will remain open throughout this event.
Simona Castricum is a Research Fellow in Architecture at the Melbourne School of Design, University of Melbourne. She is a musician, DJ and producer, runs the independent record label Trans-Brunswick Express and is a community radio broadcaster at 3RRR Melbourne. Simona’s speculative practice explores queer and trans futures and fictions through music and architecture. Simona’s work re-imagines radical relationships between the tactile, virtual, and effective conditions of gender and sexual nonconformity.
This event will follow Dennis Altman’s lecture Queer and Bogan: The Provocations of Paul Yore from 5–6pm.
