French-Algerian artist Kader Attia (b. 1970) works across diverse media including collage, photography, video, sculpture and installation. Exploring ideas around cultural exchange, appropriation, and the tangled relationship between North Africa and the West in the wake of decolonisation, Attia articulates theories of ‘repair’ and ‘reparation’ through his practice.

Delve deeper into questions and ideas within Kader Attia’s exhibition at ACCA with making and responding and making activities, including an extended workshop led by Melbourne-based contemporary artist Rushdi Anwar.

This full-day professional development program will provide opportunity for F–10 teachers to creatively engage with the Ethical, Intercultural, and Personal and Social Capabilities in the Victorian Curriculum.

All educators welcome!

Morning tea, lunch and resources provided.
