David Noonan: Scenes

The Helen Macpherson Smith Commission for 2009 saw London-based Australian artist David Noonan home, fresh from breakthrough exhibitions at the Chisenhale Gallery in London and the Palais de Tokyo in Paris.

For the commission, Noonan’s signature large-scale canvas works come to life –several wooden cut-out figures inhabit the ACCA exhibition gallery, frozen in choreographed movements.

This handsome fully illustrated publication features an essay by curator Charlotte Day.
