TO THE STREET, a public art offering in the City of Yarra that considers collaboration, visibility, connectivity, and access for all as its key motivators. Six Arts Project Australia studio artists and four local Melbourne artists have been invited by the curators to collaborate on new public works. 

Invited artists have responded to public space through a lens of experimentation, collaboration and connecting communities. Digital, online and IRL outcomes will be presented throughout the City of Yarra, with Collingwood Yards acting as a central project hub.

About Arts Project Australia

Arts Project Australia is a creative social enterprise that supports artists with intellectual disabilities, promotes their work and advocates for their inclusion in contemporary art practice. The Arts Project Australia studio is based in Northcote, and the gallery is in the Collingwood Yards.


A poster from this project will also be presented at ACCA, in the Project Space: The Hoarding over the duration of the exhibition.

Arts Project Australia is located in Collingwood Yards. Collingwood Yards offers a single disabled car parking space. Located in the commons area at 35C Johnston Street vehicle entrance. Collingwood Yards is committed to universal access and offers elevators, grade access, levelled corridors and access paths and accessible toilets across the site. Find out more here.
