Particularly popular was the screening of A TV DANTE: THE INFERNO, an ambitious undertaking by Britain’s Channel Four, in which five directors (Peter Greenaway, Raul Ruiz, Terry Gilliam, Zbigniew Rybczynski and Nagisa Oshima) adapted a block of The Inferno’s 34 cantos. Raul Ruiz, introduced by local academic Adrian Martin, spoke to a captivated ACCA audience.
